Set up the iPhone
On a tripod, opposite you on the far side of the ball, about 1.5 m (5 ft) away.

Open the launch monitor on the iPad or Mac; it finds the iPhone by itself.

Questions, answered

Do I need a launch monitor for a golf simulator?

With DeepSwing, the iPhone camera is the launch monitor. A radar or photometric unit measures spin directly, which matters most for club fitting.

How much space do I need?

About 2.7 to 3 m (9 to 10 ft) of ceiling for a driver, around 4 m (13 ft) of width with the tripod beside the ball, and at least 2.5 m (8 ft) from the ball to the net or screen.

Can I use my TV?

Yes, via AirPlay or HDMI from the iPad. Put it behind the net where no ball can reach it.

Do I need a PC?

No. The range, the courses and the games run on iPhone, iPad and Mac. You only need a PC for PC software like GSPro.

How many people can play?

Up to four players, or you play alone against the computer.
